Everywhere. To everyone.

And as I start or physically SEE big changes unfold around me, as well as FEEL the phenomenal shifts within, I sit here in San José reflecting back on how HUGE those first steps felt.

Big emotions.
So much gratitude to myself one year year ago. The me who went ALL IN on herself.

Who started telling herself the truth...
Feeling all that rose with that...

And then took ACTION and began bringing in the best possible support to hold her through this monumental year.

I love the one who took her house deposit and put it all into coaching and training. Deep deep love and support.

I love the one who was so courageous and trusted that with all that was invested, there would always be more.

I love the one who was also scared - she was so welcome and loved too. She is always welcome and loved. I love her so much!

When I say I know how big it is to commit and go all in on yourself - they are not just words.

My entire being knows.

We keep ourselves so small and fear our own power and find familiar and easy stories to grasp onto, so we don't have to face and own the parts of ourselves we want to outgrow.

The parts of myself I have outgrown this year have been called into a process of alchemy with so much love and self-compassion.

Witnessing my own clients move through their own seasons of change, truth-telling and responsibility. and HUGE GROWTH! I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!! ❤️

Life doesn't change until we own everything that is there.
Until we tell ourselves the truth about how we feel and create brave intentions, commitment and investment in our future.

We can’t have the big shifts and freedom we crav

We can’t have the big shifts and freedom we crave in life without seeing and owning the things about ourselves we often DO NOT WANT TO OWN.

Part of working with a coach means they see things about our way of being we don’t and can’t see ourselves. BLINDSPOTS.

Someone recently asked my mentor is a group session “can we ever see our own blind spots?”

The short answer is : NO

The longer answer is : we can become equipped and curious enough to bring them into the field of our work and be open to owning them much quicker when they’re revealed.

Meaning we outgrow where they’re keeping us stuck with more ease and maturity.

But no we can never see them alone.
This is why the having a coach is so powerful.
And the role of coach in your life can’t be replaced with a friend.

Coaching is its me is not about airing your feelings, giving advice or temporarily feeling better, it’s deep and confronting work which brings inquiry to the core of your being and family field.

Part of being a coach means deep compassion for your humanness and a lot of love for the part of you that wants to reject seeing the things you don’t want to face and own.

That’s your survival
I am also human and I have mine too

The parts of yourself you have squashed down, do not want to own and will reject in order to not feel the pain of why you even had to take on that way of being in the first place. Those parts matter. They are tender and welcome in my coaching spaces.

They are essential to your healing. 💓

The clarity comes when we create the space to list

When we create the space and leave it *empty*
We resist the urge to fill it

There we find the untapped gold…

The shifts
The big ahha moments
The crystal clear signs of what and were to move to next

The unfolding and unraveling of our next season
It never comes from the fullness of doing
It rises up and moves through us when we’re empty
When we’ve let something die
Let it go
And listened from this space without urgency
Without a timeline
Without knowing

Integration isn’t something to DO
It’s a place to stand and listen FROM

We all have a story, and we all have a choice whet

We all have a story, and we all have a choice whether or not to live beyond it.

Your world is generated from this place.

A life is not created from what you do.

I recently started singing lessons. This is my tea

I recently started singing lessons. This is my teacher playing one of my favourite songs. A song I heard Leonard Cohen sing live a stones throw away from me in a vineyard in Australia with the sun setting behind him.

18 years later I sing the same song with the sun shining into an apartment in Venezia. Joy, play, expression. Not for anything or anymore. Just for me.

🎶 Now so long, Marianne, it’s time that we began
To laugh and cry and cry and laugh about it all again…

The words echo so much I’ve taken away from this week in Costa Rica. So much released, so many tears, so much laughter.

It’s time to play
It’s time for joy
It’s time to be fully alive

To be a space for life to move through
For words to move through
For song and music to move through

I spent years telling myself a story I wasn’t musical
I wasn’t someone who could sing
I wasn’t the type of person who sung loudly in groups

This was just a story
There is a song in my heart that life wants to express
For what?
For the fun, and joy of it.

When was the last time you did something just for the joy of it?

Not to be good or seen
Not to better yourself or profit from it
Not as part of a strategy or plan

But just for JOY
